The best fishing spot at Lake Ontario is at Niagara Bar. In this spot, you can enjoy great year-round fishing for trout, Coho salmon, bass, brown trout, and walleye. If you enjoy fishing for Chinook salmon, plan your trip between mid-August and mid-September when they prepare to spawn.
