Lake Monona Fishing

Lake Monona is a 3,359-acre fishing spot in Dane County that is popular among local anglers. This lake, which gets up to 74 feet deep, is home to muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, sturgeon, and catfish. Anglers can shore fish at one of the 24+ access points, including several beaches, landings, and parks. In the winter, once the ice is safe, anglers can enjoy ice fishing.
