Flambeau River Fishing

One of the Chippewa River’s tributaries is the Flambeau River, which offers some beautiful fishing fun. As a wilderness river, the Flambeau is where you’ll find some of the state’s best fishing opportunities for smallmouth bass and muskie. Anglers have a good chance to bag a big fish with every cast. Most anglers fish from the bank, but it’s not uncommon to see people fishing from a kayak or boat. Kayak fishing is perhaps the best way to enjoy seeing the incredible sturgeon and other beautiful fish.
