Clopper Lake Fishing

A great fishing option in Maryland is Clopper Lake, which averages 18 feet in depth. This lake also offers many shallow coves, which attract sunfish, crappie, largemouth bass, and carp. The most plentiful fish here is the largemouth bass, which can grow to be trophy size. Clopper Lake is stocked with channel catfish and tiger muskie. A cross between a muskellunge and northern pike, the tiger muskie here are known to grow to great lengths. Other popular fish you can catch here include bluegill, redear sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, black crappie, common carp, and brown bullheads.
