Pomona Reservoir Fishing

Pomona Reservoir covers 4,000 acres in northeast Kansas, offering anglers excellent fishing opportunities. Bring the whole family for a getaway at one of the state parks or recreational areas, such as Pomona State Park, Michigan Valley Recreation Area, and the Hundred and Ten-Mile Recreation Area. You’ll find great camping at Burning Heart Campground and in other areas around the lake. The 50-mile shoreline provides ample access to both shore and boat fishing. The various fish species here include bass, crappie, catfish, walleye, white bass, and hybrid stripers.
