A longtime favorite of local fishers, Lowell Lake is generally quiet and uncrowded. Gamefish in this lake include chain pickerel, brown bullhead, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch, and largemouth bass. Lowell is a state-designated “quiet” lake, and only electric motors are allowed on watercraft. Most anglers fish from kayaks and canoes, or simply from the shore.
