Rangeley Lake lies in Maine’s western mountains and is the best-regarded for fishing of the whole Rangeley Lakes region. It is popular with vacationers and with anglers. Scenic and peaceful, the lake has over 30 miles of shoreline surrounding 6,300 acres of water that offer world-class salmon and trout fishing. Bank access is easy at all parts of the lake, while boaters can put in at Rangeley Lake State Boat Ramp in Oquossoc Cove. Rental craft are available at several nearby marinas or boat rental outfits.
