Taylorsville Lake Fishing

Taylorsville Lake in north-central Kentucky is a gamefish mecca. This 3000-acre lake is filled with a large variety of fish, including bass, crappie, white bass, sunfish, saugeye, hybrid stripers, and catfish. Anglers gather at this lake in the spring and fall to enjoy fishing for bass, crappie, and sunfish in the shallow waters off the 93 miles of shoreline. In the summer and winter, the bigger fish follow the baitfish as they move into the deeper water. Year-round, you can find catfish in and around the channels of the creek and river. At Taylorsville Lake, you can enjoy fishing by boat, canoe, or kayak. Stop by to enjoy a fun day out on the water.
