Just outside southwest Lawrence, Kansas, is a great fishing area called Clinton Reservoir. Anglers enjoy fishing this 7,000-acre reservoir for its plentiful fish species, which includes bass, crappie, hybrid stripers, white bass, and catfish. The reservoir features multiple campgrounds, access areas for public shore fishing, and several boat ramps (the #2 ramp is ADA accessible). Boating enthusiasts come to enjoy the lake with their canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, and recreational boats.
