North Bend Lake is a 300-acre fishing reservoir that attracts anglers. Located along the northern Hughes River fork, the lake features fertile conditions that are ideal for fish, such as trees, brush piles, swampy hayfields, underwater roadways, and contoured bottoms. Parts of the lake are up to 30 feet deep, while other areas are only 1-2 feet deep. Species that thrive in the lake are largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and muskie. North Bend Lake is an excellent fishing spot.
