Neshoba County Lake Fishing

Nestled in Neshoba County, Mississippi is a fishing lake known as Neshoba County Lake. This 138-acre lake is home to a large variety of game fish, including channel catfish, bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and sunfish. Due to its smaller size, this lake is often overlooked by fishermen; however, more locals are discovering it each year. In fact, Game and Fish magazine ranks Neshoba County Lake as one of the state’s best locations for catching giant bass. Each year, anglers haul in catches weighing more than 10 pounds. The largest fish caught on record here was a 14.3-pound bass. Thanks to its great fishing, Neshoba County Lake is considered one of the top five places to fish in Mississippi. Most people who come here prefer to fish from shore, but you’ll find plenty of people enjoying fishing from a kayak.
