Herrington Lake is a popular place to fish and enjoy recreational boating. Located in the central region of Kentucky between Burgin and Bryantsville, this 2,300-acre lake includes 325 miles of shoreline. There are more than a dozen different boat ramps here, as well as several marinas where you can rent pontoons, Jon boats, kayaks, or paddle boats. The biggest feature of the lake is its plentiful species of fish, such as crappie, white bass, and hybrid stripers. The great fishing and ample boating activities make Herrington Lake a worthwhile place to visit.
