Roubidoux Creek Fishing

You can enjoy great trout fishing at Roubidoux Creek, located in Waynesville. This cold-water fishery offers anglers plenty of opportunities to land a good catch – especially if they use streamers as bait. This creek’s location is unique in that it’s the only trout stream that flows under Route 66. The entire length of the creek is easy to access, but trout fishing is regulated. A large, elevated steel cable separates the creek’s two different trout management areas. The northern section is the Roubidoux Conservation area, which is a Red Ribbon Trout Management area. The section near the upper portion of the creek is a White Ribbon Trout Management Area. Both of these areas have different creel limits and regulations.
