Jenny Lake Fishing

Jenny Lake is the perfect location for those who enjoy both hiking and fishing. Located 5 miles north of Beaver Creek in the Grand Teton National Park, this 1,200-acre lake is great for both sightseeing and shore fishing. If you decide to hike Jenny Lake Trail, you’ll be treated to 7 miles of shoreline where you can stop and drop your hook whenever the impulse strikes. Since Jenny Lake doesn’t have a boat launch ramp and doesn’t permit boat motors over 10 horsepower, you may want to opt to bring a canoe, kayak, or inflatable instead. Most anglers come for the cutthroat and lake trout, which are big and plentiful here. Jenny Lake is also a very popular ice fishing area.
