Eagle River Fishing

The Eagle River Chain offers excellent fishing within the river and adjoining nine lakes. The 3,600-acre river weaves into the Three Lakes Chain, creating the biggest chain of freshwater lakes in the world. This area is recognized as one of the state’s most abundant muskie-fishing sites. If you’re boating, pay attention to the strictly enforced “no wake” zones as you enjoy the expansive stretches of water between the bridge over Highway 45 and Watersmeet Lake. They won’t hesitate to fine violators. Boaters can pass between Three Lakes and Eagle River using a boat hoist located on the river at Long Lake.
