Stonecoal Lake Fishing

Sitting at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains is a 550-acre fishing spot known as Stonecoal Lake. Anglers come here to fish for channel catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, trout, walleye, and muskie. Stonecoal Lake is home to numerous state-record, trophy-sized tiger muskie catches. Back in 2003, an angler caught a 52.7-inch muskie weighing in at 38.5 pounds. The lake is regularly stocked with game fish. At each end the lake, you’ll find a cement boat ramp for convenient water access for those who want to enjoy a little boat fishing.
