Skykomish River Fishing

One of Washington’s infamous places to fish for salmon and steelhead is Skykomish River. Other species here include steelhead (during summer), Dolly Varden, pink salmon, coho salmon, chum salmon, Chinook salmon, and trout. During the summer when melting snow and rainfall affect the water levels, anglers are highly successful in bagging chinook and steelhead. Winter is yet another prime season to target steelhead. Skykomish River is a can’t-miss fishing mecca that you don’t want to pass up – and it’s not far from Seattle.
