Bogachiel River Fishing

Large runs of winter steelhead hatches in the Bogachiel River make it a popular fishing spot, especially among fly fishermen. Plentiful populations of wild steelhead, salmon (during the fall), and cutthroat trout make the river highly a highly attractive fishing location. Although anglers typically fly fish while wading through the smooth-flowing waters, other fishing methods can be just as successful. The river is prime for late-winter fishing and remains open until April for those seeking to get in a bit of late-winter fishing.
