Lake Anna is a premier bass-fishing spot that is home to several local and regional bass-fishing tournaments. It ranks among the state’s top three places fishing spots for catching large numbers of trophy-sized largemouth bass. Other species in the lake include striped bass, hybrid striped bass, and black crappie, all of which are the main species of game fish you’ll find in the lake. Lake Anna is stocked with striped bass and hybrid striped bass annually. The other species are self-sustainable.
