Claytor Lake offers bass anglers a great place to fish for a plentiful supply of largemouth and spotted bass. Other species here include catfish, crappie, perch, and walleye. There’s a five-per-day catch limit on largemouth and smallmouth bass. The only size limitation is for smallmouth bass, which is 14 inches. Spotted bass are exempt from both size and catch limits, so you can catch as many as you want.
