Bear Creek Lake Fishing

Bear Creek Lake is a beautiful fishing spot known for its largemouth bass population. The 42-acre lake is nestled among Cumberland State Forest’s 16,000 acres. Other fish species you’ll find in the lake include bluegill, redear sunfish, and black crappie. The bluegill here are plentiful, as are the redear sunfish, which have a population that is around a third of that of the bluegill. Bear Creek has a limited population of black crappie that tend to be smaller. You can enjoy a nice relaxing day of fishing from sunup to sundown at Bear Creek Lake.
