Modestly sized but with excellent fishing, the 38-acre, 10-foot-deep Baker Pond is located in Orange County Vermont. Gamefish include largemouth bass and pumpkinseed sunfish, as well as stocked brook trout which are best caught in spring before the water warms. Baker Pond is deep enough for small boats with a shallow draft, and also has plenty of great spots to cast a net from shore.
