Also known as Wanship Reservoir, Rockport Reservoir is a state-owned reservoir located on the Weber River halfway between Coalville and Kamas, Utah. While you’ll have to pay to use any state facilities, public access to the banks and waters of the reservoir are free. Bank fishing can be very productive here, especially at the south end with the use of PowerBait. Fly fishing is excellent where the Weber flows into the reservoir, and in wintertime ice fishing (especially for perch) becomes popular.
