Located off Highway 101 in Greer is an 800-acre fishing destination called Lake Robinson. This lake has been called a “small jewel” by the local newspaper and the community. Lake Robinson is home to an abundance of redear sunfish, crappie, largemouth bass, bream/bluegill, smallmouth bass, and catfish. Lake Robinson has a wide shoreline, and its waters are wide and deep for its small size. You can fish from the shore, but you’ll need a boat to access the best fishing spots. Use the boat ramp located off Mays Bridge Road to get your boat out on the water. You’ll find the best fishing in the coves and pockets of the tributaries around the lake. Lake John Robinson also has restrooms and a picnic area for your convenience.
