Olney Pond is a great place to enjoy a relaxing day of fishing for game fish. This 128-acre reservoir located in Lincoln Woods State Park is a great place to catch several different types of trout and bass. You can either fish from the shore, or boat. Though you’ll find many places to launch a hand-carried boat, the best option for trailered boats is the cement plant boat ramp on the east side. Olney Pond is a very scenic destination, despite being located near the major metropolitan centers. Those who stop by will be treated to beautiful tree-lined shores and rocky outcroppings. There are also many islands and coves to explore. During the winter months, the pond is open for ice fishing.
