Trout fishermen come from all over during the winter months to fish for trout at Medicine Creek. Stocked regularly with trout that are roughly 1.7 pounds, this creek is a great place to try Power Bait fishing on, or close to, the bottom. Every two weeks, the creek is stocked with trout from the Gondola Dam down to the 49 bridge. They stop stocking the trout once the season officially ends on March 15; however, you can still catch them through the end of March. Aside from the trout, you can catch hybrid sunfish and channel catfish here. Thanks to the easy access to the banks, Medicine Creek is known to be great place for families to fish together.
