Near the town of Broken Bow, you’ll find a popular 14,000-acre fishing lake called Broken Bow Lake. Located in southeast Oklahoma, this lake offers 180 miles of shoreline – though most of it can only be accessed by boat. Those who enjoy hiking can find some lesser-known areas to fish from the shore. If you prefer to fish by boat, there’s a multi-land boat ramp at Beavers Bend Marina. There are also several smaller boat ramps at Beavers Bend Lakeview Lodge, Carson Creek Recreation area and Coyote Drive Campsites. If you come here to fish, you can expect to catch largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, hybrid stripers, white bass, crappie, catfish, and paddlefish.
