Piedmont Lake Fishing

In east-central Ohio, you’ll find a 2,300-acre fishing lake known as Piedmont Lake. Offering nearly 40 miles of shoreline, this lake is home to quality muskellunge, bass and saugeye. You can also find catfish, crappie, bluegill, and white bass here. In the winter, try ice fishing for crappie and saugeye. The shoreline offers plenty of foliage and brush, which makes for excellent bank fishing. If you prefer to get out on the water, note that there’s a 10 horsepower-maximum limit for motors. Your best bet is to fish from a small fishing boat, canoe, or kayak. Some of the amenities you’ll find at Piedmont Lake include a marina, public boat ramp, parking, restrooms, and food. You can also camp nearby if you want to bring the whole family and spend the night.
