Baker River Fishing

In the White Mountains region of New Hampshire, lies a 36.4-mile-long fishing river known as Baker River. The most popular fish here are the wild trout, which you can find in the river’s upper branches. The rest of the river is stocked with hatchery trout – the largest of which gather close to the hatchery in Warren. In the summer, the water gets too warm for the trout, leading some of them to die off. While some survive, the hatchery’s stocking efforts help keep the population at a good level.
