Oliver Reservoir Fishing

If you’re looking for a nice, quiet day of fishing in a location that doesn’t draw a large crowd, give Oliver Reservoir a try. This 270-acre lake is home to bass, trout, walleye, sunfish, muskie and northern pike. Most of the people who fish here enjoy drift fishing, trolling, still fishing, fly fishing and spin casting. The prime spots for fishing include the areas near the steep shore banks, gradual shores, cliffs, outlets, and inlets. You can either fish from the shore, or from a canoe or kayak. The reservoir offers a few boat ramps, one of which has a dock. You may even be able to ice fish here, provided the ice gets to a point where it’s safe enough.
