Pomme de Terre Lake Fishing

Those who enjoy fishing for muskie should try their luck at Pomme de Terre Lake. Regularly stocked with muskie since 1966, fishermen often come here in pursuit of trophy-sized catches. You can find other fish here too, including crappie, bass, white bass, bluegill, catfish, and walleye. Pomme de Terre Lake has more than 100 miles of shoreline and 7,000 acres of water surface. There are plenty of places to fish from the shore, as well as marinas and boat launches for those who want to get out on the water. You can get to some great fishing spots using a bass boat, canoe, or kayak. The Missouri Department of Conservation enforces the fishing regulations here, which are established by The Missouri Wildlife Code. If you decide to take a trip here, make sure you comply with all the rules and regulations, regardless of whether you fish in the river or lake.
