Tunica Lake Fishing

In Tunica County, you’ll find Tunica Lake where you can fish for bowfish, crappie, white bass, largemouth bass, carp, drum, yellow bass, catfish, flathead catfish and green sunfish. On the south end of the lake, you’ll find a small channel that connects to the Mississippi River. Spawning fish use this channel to enter Tunica Lake, which makes it a great fishing spot. You may even be able to catch a trophy fish here if you fish the areas near man-made structures, drop-offs, and sand bars. This lake varies in depth, depending on the stage of the Mississippi river. You can fish here with either an Arkansas or Mississippi fishing license, but you have to access the lake on the Mississippi side.
