Lake Gervais Fishing

In Ramsey County, you’ll find a popular fishing location known as Gervais Lake. This 235-acre lake gets up to 41 feet deep at its deepest spot. These waters are home to many fish species, including bluegill, black bullhead, brown bullhead, green sunfish, channel catfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie, white crappie, walleye, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch, and yellow bullhead. If you want to boat fish here, you’ll need to first go to Spoon Lake, then travel through the channel over to Gervais Lake. You can also fish here by shore or using the fishing pier. And if you want to bring the whole family, there’s also a public beach in the southwest portion.
