Lake St. Clair is an excellent fishing location shared by Michigan and Canada. This lake sits next to Detroit in southwest Michigan and covers a whopping 275,000 acres of water and 130 miles of shoreline. The lake is known for its large fish, including walleye, perch, trout, muskie, crappie, bass, sunfish, catfish, northern pike, and sturgeon. There are ample fishing opportunities here and fishing charters/guides to get you out on the water. During the winter, ice-fishing anglers come to try to catch one of the lake’s colossal perch. Anglers regularly catch trophy-sized walleye and other generously sized fish, such as muskie, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. Several boat ramps and marinas serve boaters and anglers. There’s no doubt that this lake is teeming with plenty of large, diverse fish.
