Cass Lake Fishing

One of Michigan’s most-visited fishing lakes is Cass Lake. Located in Oakland County, this lake offers nearly 1,300-acres of water surface with depths up to 122 feet. Angers come here to fish for bluegill, rock bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, lake trout, muskie, walleye, and yellow perch. Cass Lake is known as a fine, year-round fishery that is well-stocked with walleye and trout. Anglers can enjoy fishing by boat, shore, or from one of the fishing piers. In the winter, the lake comes to life as the locals come out for some great ice fishing. Cass Lake is a great four-season fishing spot for anglers and their families.
