A popular 128-acre lake local anglers like to fish is Lake Wyola which is located in Shutesbury (west of Route 202 by about 4 miles.) Some of the species of game fish here are Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, Brown Bullhead, Golden Shiner, Banded Killifish, Fallfish, White Sucker, Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout. Brook Trout are stocked every spring, and Rainbow Trout are stocked every fall. Ample fishing opportunities await anglers here.
