Falls Pond Fishing

A pair of reservoirs form Fall’s Pond, where anglers get two fishing spots in one area. Situated on 112 acres, the reservoirs have a connecting culvert that travels below Reservoir Street. Fall’s Pond is known as a hotspot for Trout (Brook/Rainbow.) Various fish species you can expect to encounter here in addition to Trout are Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, White Perch, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, and Golden Shiner. Seasonal stockings of Brook and Rainbow Trout are done every spring and fall. The Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and Rainbow Trout may not be trophy-size, but these fish have recognition as minimum-size catches according to the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
