There’s plenty of fishing for experienced and novice anglers alike at Lake Habeeb. You’ll need to use one of the many surrounding hiking trails to access the 9.4 miles of shoreline this lake offers. Once there, you can enjoy great largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing. Additionally, you may be able to snag yourself one of the other trophy sunfish inhabitants, like bluegill, redear, pumpkinseed, redbreast and green. Lake Habeeb is also stocked yearly with channel catfish, rainbow trout and brown trout. And if that weren’t enough, the lake is home to many sought-after game fish, including spotfin, golden shiner, yellow bullhead, bluntnose minnow, black crappie, and emerald shiner.
