In southern Maine at Manchester, Cobbosseecontee Lake or Cobbossee Lake has a reputation as one of Maine’s best bass fisheries, along with robust populations of sunfish, trout, pickerel, and pike. The winding, forested shoreline stretches for 62 miles, with plenty of portage points and boat docks, including the Cobbosseecontee Lake Boat Launch in the southeast corner. Various portage points for kayaks and canoes are also great for bank fishing.
