Androscoggin Lake Fishing

Androscoggin Lake is located in south-central Maine, with 4,000 acres of water that offer year-round fishing. Wintertime ice-fishers can land perch, pike, and trout, while summertime angling focuses on the lake’s populations of those gamefish as well as bass, trout, crappie, sunfish, and pickerel. The lake is also popular for summer vacations not only for its fishing but also for its great swimming, kayaking, water sports, and sightseeing. Shopping, dining, camping, and boats rentals are also readily available. Androscoggin has 30-plus miles of accessible shoreline, with a boat launch at the northern tip at Androscoggin Lake Boat Access off Highway 133.
