Lake Verret Fishing

Located in the community of Pierre Part in southeast Louisiana, the 14,500-acre Lake Verret is home to a number of bass tournaments, thanks to its excellent bass fishing. Other populations in the lake include crappie, sunfish, and channel cats. The terrain is excellent, with sixty miles of shoreline that is almost entirely forested or brushy. There are three public boat launches: at Attakapas Landing not he shout heat shore, at the northern end of the lake just off Highway 70, and on the northwest shore on Shell Beach Road.
