Black Bayou Lake Fishing

Black Bayou Lake is the centerpiece of the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge, one of five such refuges in the greater North Louisiana Refuge Complex. The lake is popular with locals and visitors for fishing gamefish like sunfish, gar, perch, bluegill, and bass. The lake is dotted with cypress and tupelo trees, and features many connecting swamps and waterways that all create great cover and habitat for fish.
