Bayou D’Arbonne Lake Fishing

Lake D’Arbonne is one of Louisiana’s most scenic and most fishable lakes, located in the north of the state outside the town of Farmerville. It is an excellent lake for simple family recreation and for fishing, with robust populations of gamefish like crappie, catfish, sunfish, bream, and bass. The lake has 15,200 acres of water and 100-plus miles of shoreline, which boasts multiple access points from the bank for fishing or portage of canoes and kayaks, along with several public boat ramps for pleasure boats, fishing craft, and smaller watercraft.
