Sitting on 149 acres in Owen County, Kentucky, is a nice fishing spot known as Elmer Davis Lake. This reservoir is popular among anglers who enjoy fishing from the shore and by boat. The lake offers some of the best in species, such as panfish and channel catfish. Some of the most common species caught here are crappie, bluegill, sunfish, and warmouth. Those with boats can access one of two public boat ramps or a paid dock/ramp combo on the north side (end of Hwy. 1670, south of Owenton). There’s also a small ramp/dock combo free to the public at the dam.
