Carpenters Lake, also known as “Carpenter Lake,” offers a nice fishing location for those in and around Daviess County. The lake is located 7.5 miles outside of Lewisport, near Yelvington. Here you can try your luck at catching bluegill, crappie, catfish, sunfish, black bass, and smallmouth bass. Some of the leading species caught in Carpenter Lake are largemouth bass, channel catfish, and black crappie.
