Severy City Lake Fishing

If you’re looking for a quiet game-fishing spot, Severy City Lake is the place to go. Anglers that come to this 10-acre lake have the chance to bag some amazing largemouth bass and channel catfish. There’s also a good supply of average-sized bluegill and redear sunfish. You’ll usually find the redear sunfish in the deeper water, whereas the bluegill stick closer to the shore to enjoy the ample vegetation and shade. When fishing from a kayak, try drifting about 20-30 feet out from the shoreline while bottom fishing with small worm-baited hooks. You’ll find a boat ramp and several shelters around the lake.
