You can find some of the most targeted game fish species in the spring-fed, 100-acre Scott State Fishing Lake. The most common species here are redear sunfish, green sunfish, crappie, channel catfish, largemouth bass, trout, walleye, bluegill, and black bullhead. The most popular fish to target include rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and sunfish. You can enjoy fishing here by shore, canoe, or kayak. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake, and you’ll need a permit to fish/possess trout during trout season.
