Cowley County is home to Cowley State Fishing Lake. The lake provides 80 acres of water surface that can get up to 32 feet deep. Anglers come to these pristine waters for various game fish, including channel catfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, walleye, crappie, and flathead. Regular stocking keeps the fish population plentiful, which draws anglers in and keeps them coming back.
