Lake Macbride Fishing

Located in eastern-central Iowa, Lake MacBride covers 810 acres where anglers can target more than twelve popular species of fish. Just two miles southwest of the lake is the city of North Liberty. A few of the leading species here include bass, crappie, and wipers. Lake Macbride is also home to plenty of other fish, such as catfish, walleye, white bass, bluegill, northern pike, and sunfish. The lake offers numerous amenities for anglers and families, including boat rentals, shore fishing (pier, jetty, shoreline), seven boat ramps, a marina, a fish-cleaning station, several campgrounds, and swimming.
