Summit Lake Reservoir Fishing

Anglers of all skill levels enjoy fishing at Summit Lake Reservoir. The lake is seven miles away from New Castle in Henry County. A few of the most common catches include bluegill, perch, and largemouth bass. You can find other species here as well, including crappie, redear sunfish, and channel catfish. You’ll have the best luck using baits such as maggots, nightcrawlers, waxworms, redworms, jigs (1/64 oz.), artificial flies, livers, soft plastics, rattle bait, and spinnerbait.
